Lots of us often frequent Super H-Mart, the large Korean based grocery store located right around the corner from my house. It always makes for a particularly amusing trip, and has been known to include highlights such as nearly being run over by crazed Korean motorists, the girl at the ice cream stand yelling “ice cream, free samples!” loud enough to hear it across the entire store, or watching Jerry chow down on foods with funny names (bim bim bap?) in the restaurant.

This trip pointed out a few new products including Sweet Tamarind (which strangely resembled feces in a box), and CoCo Rico, a surely delicious canned beverage (lots of people call me coco, for those that don’t find it quite as amusing). We also saw a grown man wearing what appeared to be a homemade Hello Kitty shirt that featured strange text saying “Go On Forever” under the feline, and that made us laugh. Oh, and let’s not forget the store attendant telling Shiz and I that Ramune (Japanese marble drinks) wouldn’t be in until tomorrow when he caught us staring down other items in the drink aisle. Apparently all white kids (and their 1/2 asian friends) are only in the market for that stuff? Who knows. H-Mart is always a good time though.
