Today me, Jerry, and Cody went to Little Caesar’s to get value priced pizza. Me being hungry, I decided to get a large $5 pepperoni for myself. Now, Little Caesar’s isn’t the best pizza in the world, but for $5 you can’t go wrong. We went back to me and Cody’s place and put in Ronin. At this point I had really started carving my pizza so I dug in. We watched Bobby Deniro shoot people with his 1911 .45 while we ate the delectable slices.

At this point I hadn’t even began to quench my hunger. I think they had just finished making the deal for the firearms and escaping the trap that was set for them. Also note: 1911 .45, Beretta (used by Jean Reno), MP5 (used by Boromir) and a nitrous sprayed Audi S8.

Now I’m starting to feel it. Half a pie down. I think they had just gotten to their safe house near Nice in the movie and Bobby just got done nailing that Irish trick in the Audi. Luckily I had water from my Pur water filtration pitcher to keep me hydrated during this adventure. I had to keep going.

I managed to put down another 2 slices before all the deliciousness crept up on me like a tranquilizer dart.

I slept through the greatest car chase scene of all moviedom. I did eat the last 3 pieces later in the evening. No need for reheating, it was still delicious. All in all a delightful evening full of peril and adventure. If you have the means, I highly recommend it. Little Caesar’s receives my walrus of approval. Seals suck.

Today, I woke up earlier than I have in ages to take part in something awesome. My good friend Andy Sapp invited myself and Panda out to a machine gun shoot way up in north GA that he was attending with a few of his co-workers from Advanced Armament, a company that makes silencers and other rad gun accessories. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a good bit of lightning and rain which kinda changed things, but we were still able to blast a few rounds through a MG-74 belt fed .308 machine gun and a suppressed Glock handgun. I also broke out a few of my rifles earlier in the day (AR-15, 10/22, M1 Carbine, M44 Mosin Nagant, 91/30 Mosin Nagant Sniper) and passed those around for everyone to test out. After this, we took a bit of a break and that’s where the small food part of this entry comes into play. Andy decided to try out a BBQ sandwich from the roadside vendor that came out to the event, however according to him the bun appeared to be covered in vasoline. We don’t think it really was, but it did have an odd look to it. Panda quickly volunteered to take it off his hands, and found it to be somewhat tasty. After the weird lunch break, Andy got to rock out the M240, we watched a few suppressed AR’s, and then I got to fire a full mag through a Thompson submachine gun which was awesome. After leaving, we picked up some more edible food at the Wendy’s which was a nice ending to a fun morning. Great time overall, and thanks again to Andy and the AAC guys for letting us tag along and blow up things. Full gallery of pics here for those interested.

Tonight marked the first official liketoeat cookout, and it was quite a success. It started with Panda and I meeting up with Minh Anh, Rose, and Joni at Suno (delicious asian shaved ice place) where there was a huge line, so we left and went to Kroger to pick up grilling goods. We met up with Laura and Shai there who luckily knew where the fake hamburger aisle was, and then all went back to the house for delicious food action. I kinda burnt a bunch of hot dogs and may have dropped one on the ground (don’t worry, it got thrown in the woods), but everything was still pretty tasty. Joni also baked a liketoeat cake which came out awesome, and was quite delicious as well. See a few highlights below, or check out all the photos here.

…for inventing Ikea, possibly the best place ever. Panda and I joined Jerry in a trip there tonight as he needed to pick up a new desk for his ballin’ new Mac G5, and we couldn’t turn down the idea of ridiculously cheap food that is always abundant there. Each of us rocked out the $2.50 combo that included 2 hot dogs, some chips, and a drink, and it was fantastic. Jerry and I each went back for a 3rd dog to munch on as we wandered around the store, and that finally filled us up. The store was great as usual too, and we found a nice array of cheap furniture to stare at and sample. Also strolling around the store was my good friend Joey Redmond, who apparently lives downtown now and commonly wanders through Ikea for enjoyment (well, not really but it seemed that way until we found that he was just killing time there as traffic was horrible earlier). If I lived that close, I’d totally be getting mad amounts of hot dogs and cinnamon rolls every day though, those things are way too good to pass up. There’s talk of going back soon to try out their insanely breakfast deals, keep an eye out here to see if that happens. For now, a few of the photographic highlights:

so yeah, left work early today cause my “stomace”(thanks huey) was killing me. i try not to be bitch and check out when i’m not feeling well, but fucking aye, by the end of the last class i was teaching, i couldn’t even stand up straight. alls i know is when i got home i chugged a bunch of pocari sweat (i’m convinced it has special powers) and had some rice with stir fried beef, and within minutes i felt absolutely fine. odd. still not sure what was wrong with me, but i thank my favorite ion supply drink and a well-cooked home meal for my miraculous recovery. off to study more japanese and then pretend i’m selling clothes in shibuya for an hour or so! bai bai.

Lately, I’ve been craving (or carving) smoothies a lot so I went to Robeks Juice in D-Wood for the second day in a row to make dinner out of an Infinite Orange smoothie minus the banana. We had actually planned to take a visit to the Dunwoody Smoothie King instead, but they decided they wanted to close well before they actually were supposed to close, so that got cancelled. Robecks was still a good choice, despite their slightly higher prices. I did receive a dollar off coupon yesterday however, and then got another today so I guess their tactics are working. Not sure if I’ll make it 3 days in a row though, that could make expensive habit. At least it’s healthier and more delicious than smoking. Shai and Barry voyaged out with us and Shai entertained the store with some pretty sweet dance moves to hits such as “Your Love” by the Outfield and “Dirty Little Secret” by All-American Rejects (which made me miss Rock Band).

that is all.

hi all, shiz checking in. here’s a picture of cake that’s good to eat, courtesy of fogo de chao:

Today, I went over to Laura’s after Easter lunch with my family. QC joined us and we crafted a delicious Easter dinner of Pita Bread pizzas, croutons, and a few other things. After dinner, we made weird smoothies consisting of way too much ice, Sunkist, frozen strawberries (inspired by yet another viewing of “Across the Universe”), and some lemonade. They didn’t have too much taste but were kinda good by the end.

Tonight, a bunch of us went out for one of our favorite activities, Korean Karaoke at Palm Tree Cafe. It was fairly fun, although we went with some people that didn’t know us and obviously didn’t want to be there. Perhaps it was all of our terrible voices or just the fact that 2 men were singing a duet of “A Whole New World”, but whatever the reason, it was a bit awkward. Still didn’t stop us from singing all of our hits such as Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper”, “Part Of Your World” as made famous by the Little Mermaid (and no, I don’t know all the words to that song without looking at the screen), and Laura and Tran’s “The Sign” by Ace of Bass to name a few. Panda, myself, and Laura also Rickrolled everyone which was good.

Afterwards, part of the crew went next door to Waffle House for a late night dinner. I went with the classic All-Star Special but opted for their new biscuits and gravy for the entree and was quite excited about this (as many of you know, biscuits and gravy are pretty much my favorite food ever). To my surprise, our strange old man waiter (who decided to call me “babe” at least twice), brought out a waffle in place of the biscuits, which was devastating at first. I figured I’d eat it anyhow, however minutes later my biscuits and gravy appeared, giving me a massive meal overall. Here’s a shot of the tasty feast from that evening.
