…for inventing Ikea, possibly the best place ever. Panda and I joined Jerry in a trip there tonight as he needed to pick up a new desk for his ballin’ new Mac G5, and we couldn’t turn down the idea of ridiculously cheap food that is always abundant there. Each of us rocked out the $2.50 combo that included 2 hot dogs, some chips, and a drink, and it was fantastic. Jerry and I each went back for a 3rd dog to munch on as we wandered around the store, and that finally filled us up. The store was great as usual too, and we found a nice array of cheap furniture to stare at and sample. Also strolling around the store was my good friend Joey Redmond, who apparently lives downtown now and commonly wanders through Ikea for enjoyment (well, not really but it seemed that way until we found that he was just killing time there as traffic was horrible earlier). If I lived that close, I’d totally be getting mad amounts of hot dogs and cinnamon rolls every day though, those things are way too good to pass up. There’s talk of going back soon to try out their insanely breakfast deals, keep an eye out here to see if that happens. For now, a few of the photographic highlights:
